On 20th March 2023, Stuart Cullum, President of Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) visited NESC Technical Institute for the first time since assuming the role of RDP President in 2022.

RDP and NESC have been partners in education since 2008. Graduates of NESC’s diploma programme are also eligible to receive the Trades Professional Certificate from RDP upon completion of one (1) year work experience. This dual certification enables NESC graduates to seek additional career opportunities in Canada.

In 2022, RDP and NESC agreed to extend their partnership through 2031. NESC and RDP will collaborate to enhance trade and technology training in Trinidad and Tobago and across the Caribbean region.
