Sixty-eight (68) students from Mayaro and its environs celebrated their successful completion of customised short courses on Thursday 12th January 2023.

The students completed courses in IT, including digital literacy, Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as courses in Entrepreneurial Skills, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and Building Construction Technology.

These customised short courses were developed and delivered by NESC and sponsored by Perenco T&T Limited. For over a decade, Perenco has been engaging NESC to assist with its corporate social responsibility initiatives in the fence line community of Mayaro. The short courses are specially designed to help residents increase their skills so they can access available job and business opportunities.
