This course teaches persons the skills necessary to install, diagnose and repair Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration systems for both commercial and residential buildings. Trainees will be able to run start up systems, test lines to detect leaks and record the readings taken to ensure that the system is functioning satisfactorily.
This course provides students with the knowledge and skill required to install, maintain and repair electrical systems in both domestic properties. It includes planning, layout and installation of wiring, electrical fixtures, panels, cable trays etc. Emphasis is placed on the proper use of tools and safe work practices.

This course is designed to cover the range of skills required to maintain or renovate the plumbing of commercial and residential properties. It offers comprehensive training using a hands-on approach. This course targets persons wishing to enter the plumbing trade but who may have very little, if any, experience in the field.
The Machine Shop course impacts the skills and knowledge necessary to function as a machinist in the automotive and industrial machine shop environments. The skills acquired enable students to work on a variety of machines including lathes, milling and precision grinding machines.

This course offers practical and theoretical training in Pipefitting and Fabrication. Students are taught to install and repair piping or tubing systems which transport liquid, gas and occasionally solid material. This course involves selecting and preparing pipe and tubing, joining them together by various means as well as locating and repairing leaks. Students are exposed to all major aspects of the occupational area.
This programme is another of NESC's 1-year Craftsman Programmes and imparts the basic skills necessary for the effective maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment used in the Petrochemical and other industries. The programme includes theory and relevant practicals in the repair and alignment of pumps and other rotating equipment, as well as gearboxes and compressors. Graduates will receive an NESC Certificate which can allow for direct entry into NESC’s 2-year Level III (Diploma Programmes).
