Refrigeration and Air Condition Diploma

Graduates will have a thorough knowledge of the principle components of refrigeration systems, heat/cool units and air conditioning electrical and automatic controls. They will be capable of assembling, installing or overhauling all components and be proficient in the use of test instruments. After completing this course students are able to apply their knowledge of the installation, and service of HVAC systems in accordance with standards for the industry. Drilling Rig Mechanic Craftsman

1 YEAR CRAFTSMAN


The Rig Mechanic programme is specifically designed to equip graduates with the technical knowledge and skill required of a Rig Mechanic, to competently perform routine and non-routine maintenance on the Drilling Rig. This course is offered exclusively at NESC's Drilling Academy, Ste. Madeline.

Fabricator / Pipe Fitter Craftsman

1 Year (full-time)

This course offers practical and theoretical training in Pipefitting and Fabrication. Students are taught to install and repair piping or tubing systems which transport liquid, gas and occasionally solid material. This course involves selecting and preparing pipe and tubing, joining them together by various means as well as locating and repairing leaks. Students are exposed to all major aspects of the occupational area.

The Instrumentation Craftsman Programme teaches persons to install, maintain and repair the measuring and control instruments used in industrial and commercial processing. Students are exposed to variety of pneumatic, electronic and microcomputer instruments used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature levels, motion etc.
