The Guidance and Welfare Programme is an integral part of the trainees' learning experience at NESC.
It is designed as a holistic approach to promote a sense of individual well being.

The Programme comprises of Career, Educational and Personal/Social components.

The role of the Guidance and Welfare Officer is to facilitate the growth and development of the trainee in the learning environment and as such the processes of Group Guidance, Counseling, Information, Consulting, Referral and Assessment are utilized to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive Programme.
It is intended that this Programme will result in a purposeful and wholesome effect in the lives of those being served.
